+ What gear do you use?

I shoot with a professional Sony mirrorless camera body (A7Riii) and utilize Sony, Zeiss, and Sigma Art lenses.

+ Will you travel for clients?

Absolutely! I am more than happy to come to you or meet you anywhere you need me. I am currently establishing a rotational tour of client cities for annual photo visits, so if you have a group of friends interested in family photo sessions just get a group together and reach out to me and we can most certainy work something out (this approach helps to lower the travel costs too). I also travel internationally for clients and can accompany you on vacations to document special memories if desired. I love building special coverage packages for these purposes.

+ Are you accepting of all family types?

You are a family and that's all that matters. I'm not in the business of putting people in boxes and labeling them as a type, I'm in the business of telling stories. Your story deserves to be told. My only concern is documenting and portraying your family in as raw and authentic of a way as possible. I am LGBT friendly and accepting of all family types. I want to provide you with beautiful images to match your beautiful story.

+ I don't see EXACTLY what I'm looking for in your offerings, do you offer custom sessions?

Yes and no. I'm not an 'everything' photographer. I stick to my style and I stick to my content. However, I am happy to consider any proposals you might have for session/project ideas. A lot of my favorite work comes from collaborating with my clients on custom packages framed around my services. Send me a note and let's brainstorm!

+ How will my images be delivered?

Whether for image review and selections or final delivery, your images will be delivered to you via Pic-Time.

+ What backup systems do you use?

After your session, images are immediately backed up to two separate external hard drives. If traveling, I will also retain all RAW files on the camera cards and store them safely until I have returned back home. Delivered images are also backed up on externals (for varying lengths of time depending on the project) and also kept in the cloud.

+ Can I have the RAW images?

You might think you want the RAW images, but I promise you that you don't. I shoot in a way that allows me to get exactly the type of final shot that I want for any given client and project. I'm not just sitting on a bunch of high quality images that I never want to allow to see the light of day, I can assure you. The images that I deliver are intentionally created in my specific way, all the others that you never see are simply part of the process of getting to that final shot.

+ Where can I get my photos printed?

These days it's fairly convenient to be able to roll up to your neighborhood mega-store and use their photo printer, but that doesn't mean you should be taking advantage of such offerings. While your photos are your photos, and I want you to print off as many as you desire, you need to know that consumer grade printers (like at Target) are not calibrated for professional color matching and high resolution image quality. So while it may be very tempting to take advantage of bargain prices and right this minute convenience, I urge you to spend the extra money to have professional quality prints of your photos made. I am happy to work with you in this effort, and would be even more pleased if you utilized my very well thought out print shop.
